Dr. Allan S. Detweiler is a board-certified family medicine practitioner providing patients with comprehensive care at South Shore Family Medical Associates since 1998. He also serves as the Associate Program Director of Family Practice at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
Dr. Detweiler received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Molloy College before graduating with his doctorate at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He then completed residency training in Family Practice at Peninsula Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.
In addition to his training and experience, Dr. Detweiler also holds academic appointments as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
